Biking - Training yourself
The only way that you're going to experience
mountain biking to its fullest is if you are in good shape.
1. One of the best ways to keep yourself motivated
to ride is by keeping a training schedule. This way you will
be able to keep track of your progress and set goals. The training
schedule should prepare yourself well before you heat the dirt
track. Don't get too discouraged if you don't reach all of your
goals right away - you'll reach them eventually.
2.
When you begin cycling, start out slowly. naturebeyond tours
are so designed as to provide you some practice biking before
you climb the tougher hills. If you want to improve your power,
stay sitting on the saddle. If you want to strengthen your upper
body, climb up the hill, out of the saddle. You will use your
upper body to propel the bike forward while climbing hills.
Try both methods of climbing to get the best workout.
3. If you are a runner, you can also try some
hill training? Running up hills will increase your strength
and stamina. naturebeyond biking tours are accompanied by cars
which will follow you carrying your bike while you enjoy a jog.
You may find running in the hills challanging especially in
higher altitude, but it's worth it because your recovery time
will be much quicker after you begin mountain biking.
4.
If you are very serious about your training, you may want to
use a heart rate monitor. If you use one of these useful gizmos,
stay at 80% of your maximum heart rate for best results. Here
is some useful tip to find out your heart rate.
a. Subtract your age from 220 to get your maximum heart rate
b. Take your maximum heart rate and multiply it by 80% to find
your Target Heart Rate. This suggestion is of general nature
and and should be supplimented with medical advice by professionals.
5. Things to expect - At first, while climbing
up hills it is normal for your legs to burn. This is your body's
reaction to a build-up of lactic acid. As you become more fit,
you will no longer feel this burning.
