naturebeyond guests are Domestic as well as
Inbound almost in equal proportion. The international tourists
mainly constitute guests from West-Europe, Australia and Middle
East. About half of our inbound guests comes to us through international
travel organizations and the rest visit us through referral
and websites.
Among Indian tourists the largest group of
guests are from Calcutta. Although we have guests from all over
the country more guests visit us from Maharastra, Gujarat and
Delhi. About 40 per cent of our domestic visitors visit us through
travel agencies.
We provide customised tours for about 75 per cent of our guests.
The balance include off the shelf packages and part service
booking such as hotel and transportation.
45 per cent of our tours are categorized as luxury tours, about
35 per cent as standard tours and the balance is budget tours.
Leisure tours attracts the largest number
of our guests. Adventure and offbeat tours about 26 per cent
and the rest constitutes special interest travels such as ornithology
tour, Buddhist tour etc. (The above data is based on 2006 figures).
