www.himalayan-adventure.com is the website of naturebeyond. Started in 2002 by a group of nature lovers, team naturebeyond includes a group of about 15 members lead by Partha and Pallab. naturebeyond currently serves tourists in Darjeeling, Sikkim, Dooars and Bhutan region. more about our members.

2. Is it safe to make payments through the internet to naturebeyond?
We understand the security threats that internet transactions may pose. Although transaction through secured payment gateway is safe, it is often not preferred by our guests with apparent security concerns. Hence we more commonly suggest the standard bank transfer through traditional means. In cases where such payments are not possible or causes inconvenience to the guests, we do have the necessary infrastructure to accept online credit card payment through one of the most secured payment gateways in the world.

3. Can you provide us reference of guests from my town who traveled through naturebeyond?
We do provide guest reference but we also highly appreciate our guests privacy needs. We can give you the contact of our previous guests so that you can cross verify, but only when such guests have expressly permitted us to do so. 4. Your website is good, but how can I be assured about your service?
Although most people are impressed with our web presence, we understand this does not necessarily confirm the standard of our service. Here are some points that may help you clear any doubts.
a) We are not an web based company, websites are just a tool for us to market our services. We are a leading tour operator and can be reached during business hours at the numbers given in the contact us page.
b) naturebeyond is an authorised travel operator of West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation. We are the founder members of EHTTOA, the apex tour operators association of the region, We are also active members of Travel Agents Association of Bengal.
c) We are based in the north-east and provide first hand service to our guests . If you book through naturebeyond, you can be assured of personalised service since the person who communicates with you will be the same person who takes care of you during the tour.

5. What infrastructure do you have?
Our infrastructure includes cars, tents, mountain bikes, camping and mountaineering equipment etc. We are developing three resorts currently. These are joint ventures between naturebeyond and local people. The most important resource for naturebeyond is thorough knowledge of the region and very good ground level contact. our infrastructure

6. I do not want a packaged tour. Can I simply book the hotels through you?
Although we can provide you customised tour packages as per your requirement, it is not necessary for you to take a package tour to travel with naturebeyond. You can take any service (or part service) that you want. But our assessment is that taking individual service is costlier than taking full service, you also miss out on the `peace of mind` element that comes with a complete package tour.

7. I am not interested in adventure tours. Can you serve my specific interest?
Apart from adventure tours, naturebeyond also organise Leisure tours, in fact the largest number of our tours are leisure tour. Besides, we can also organise Jungle tours, Ethnic tours, Eco tours, Buddhist tours, Heritage tours etc. Please tell us your area of interest and we will let you know what we can do for you.

8. I am visiting the region alone. Can you arrange a tour for me?
We can and we do. There are certain restrictions, especially in Sikkim and Bhutan, on traveling alone by foreigners. Except for those places, we do provide service to individuals. Even if you are a backpacker, that shouldn't stop you from taking our service. What we do not is to attach an individual tourist with other tourists or groups.

9. Can I take an English speaking guide?
naturebeyond provides English speaking guides to assist you in your tour. Our guides are professionally trained and have very good knowledge about the region.

6. How can I make payment for the service I take?
To make payment from outside India, you may send us a `bank draft` in the name of naturebeyond. You can also wire us the advance through your bank. If you are already in India, you can simply drop cash in ICICI Bank.
